CANCELED - WMRA Books & Brews June 9, 2020

Unfortunately, due to Virginia's current 'Stay at Home' order and continued concerns about spreading COVID-19, our special June 2020 Books & Brews, featuring Rebecca Kauffman discussing her book, The House on Fripp Island, has been canceled.

Kauffman’s keen, atmospheric follow-up to The Gunners explores class, friendship, and dark family secrets.

WMRA's Books & Brews series is made possible thanks to the support of Gaines Group Architects, the official sponsor of Books & Brews. The Gaines Group has offices in Charlottesville and Harrisonburg

Rebecca Kauffman is the author of The Gunners, as well as Another Place You've Never Been, which was a finalist for the Center for Fiction First Novel Prize, and most recently The House on Fripp Island. She has been a featured guest with Books & Brews before discussing her book Another Place You've Never Been

Martin was born in Kenya and moved to Harrisonburg, Virginia, in 2013 to pursue his education at James Madison University, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Integrated Science and Technology in 2017. Martin joined WMRA shortly after graduation in August 2017.
