Paul Bogard thinks you don't have enough darkness in your life.
In fact he says the vast majority of Americans have never seen a true night sky because of what he calls, "light pollution."
And it's not just a problem here.
The Virginia researcher has traveled the globe tracking a lack of darkness, the problems associated with it, and the search for solutions.
