After the morning workshop, local volunteers will help install 24 solar panels on a Habitat duplex in Harrisonburg. Last year, Central Valley Habitat for Humanity teamed up with the non-profit GiveSolar to create a model for installing solar panels on newly built Habitat homes. GiveSolar partners with Green Hill Solar, a Harrisonburg-based solar installation company, to install the systems on Habitat homes.
