Bob Satterwhite

Bob's Record Shelf Host (Volunteer)

Bob was born and raised in Richmond. Following college, he taught in the Music Department at Virginia Commonwealth University for seven years before moving to Port Republic in 1977. He was the Director of Federal Job Training Programs for the Valley until he retired in 2011.

Bob and his wife Linda enjoy attending concerts and opera performances, taking railroad trips all over the country and astronomy – they are frequent visitors to observatories in West Texas, New Mexico and Arizona.

Bob began hosting "The Record Shelf" in January 1991.
