The Shenandoah Valley Art Center during the month of June, in the Cabell/Arehart Invitational Gallery and newly designated Members’ Building, invites you to be a part of the most anticipated event of the year – the Annual Anniversary Members Judged Show. Awards will be presented, including a special opportunity for one artist to be featured in a solo exhibition in the Members Gallery in 2027. This year’s show will be judged by award winning artist, Karen Rosasco. Join us for the Opening Reception on Friday, June 5 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM. We will be celebrating our 40th anniversary with a festive evening featuring a BBQ, a Silent auction, and more ways to support the Art Center – all with no ticket required. Don’t miss this celebration of your creative community. This will be a laid-back evening with food, good company, and great art! The exhibition will be open to the public June 5 – August 1 , Tuesday – Thursday, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Friday, 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., at 126 S. Wayne Ave, Waynesboro, VA 22980.

Jazz in the Park is an annual summer music series featuring a different top quality professional jazz band weekly on Thursdays 7-9 pm at the Gypsy Hill Park Bandstand in Staunton, Va. The 2026 summer concert season runs July 9- Sept. 3. Concerts are FREE & open to the public, held rain or shine. Concessions available. Lawn chairs/ blankets recommended to stretch out comfortably under the trees in this lovely park setting. Family friendly.
