Get ready for a full day of mouthwatering food trucks, live music, a lively Kids' Zone, craft vendors, and refreshing adult beverages. All proceeds benefit Open Doors, a vital local nonprofit dedicated to providing low-barrier shelter, connection to services, and compassionate support for all experiencing homelessness and other hardship in the Harrisonburg-Rockingham area.

Pie Auction to benefit Fluvanna Food Bank
Craving homemade pie? Join us on Saturday, September 27, from 3 to 5 PM at Grace & Glory Lutheran Church, 683 Jefferson Parkway (Rt. 53) in Palmyra, for a mouthwatering Pie Auction featuring pies just like Grandma used to make! Guests can bid by the slice or for whole pies, with proceeds supporting the Fluvanna Food Bank. Gluten-free options will be available. Today’s landscape is formed in part by human activities past and present. Highland and the on-campus Institute for Integrative Conservation have collaborated on a series of high-impact projects that have built new perspectives on Highland’s landscape and the forces that have shaped it. Leaders and students from Highland and the IIC share perspectives and results of collaborative projects involving the people and places of the Highland landscape.

The talk will take place from 10:00 to 11:00 in the Highland Pavilion, with an optional hike from 11:00 to 12:30. Light refreshments provided.
