At 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 4, the Center at Belvedere will host a free presentation by the Piedmont Master Gardeners: “When, Where, and How to Prune.”
The program will explain how pruning trees, especially when they’re young, can put them on the path to a long, healthy life. It will cover the basics of structural pruning, when to prune various species, where and how to make proper cuts, the right tools and how to use them, and how to stay safe while pruning.
