Ver Azul is a musical brotherhood, featuring local guitarist, singer and songwriter, Matthew Széchényi, Cornelius Conway, bassist, and percussionist, Richie Vazquez. Performing together for over 20 years, the sound of their kinship is distinguished by finger-style acoustic guitar and improvised soloing informed by Széchényi’s favorite jazz saxophonists, shades of American, Latin and Brazilian jazz and Bossa Nova, and songs which are reflective, spiritual and uplifting.
