The Greater Richmond Children’s Choir (GRCC) and Rockbridge Youth Chorale (RYC) will join to present Sing for the Earth on Saturday, March 19, 4:30 pm at Grace Episcopal Church in Lexington. The choirs will debut Martha Jones Burford’s composition Call It God set to the poetry of Kentucky Poet Laureate, Jesse Stuart, and commissioned by GRCC. Under the direction of Crystal Jonkman and Pete Curry, the GRCC choirs performing include the advanced Pro Arte and Cavalieri Choirs as well as members of the intermediate level Concert Choir. The Rockbridge Youth Chorale, directed by Lacey R. Lynch and Anna Billias, will feature the Youth and Children's Choirs.
