Eileen Ivers and The Brigideens
Led by Grammy award-winning and nine-time All-Ireland Fiddle Champion Eileen Ivers, The Brigideens are a fiery, brand-new, female-dominated powerhouse, coming together as a group of talented musicians and singers from the Celtic and Americana traditions. Ivers formed the group to showcase the mighty dimension of talent in today’s artists. In addition to Ivers, the Brigideens are Caitlin Maloney, Hilary Hawke, Anna Colliton, and Colin Forhan.
The Shenandoah Valley Music Festival is a not‐for‐profit performing arts presenter that has been bringing great music to the Valley since 1963. Each summer, SVMF presents eight to ten concerts on select weekends, featuring performing artists from a wide variety of genres. Our concert venue is an outdoor pavilion on the grounds of Shrine Mont, a beautiful, historic retreat and conference center, situated at the foot of Great North Mountain in Orkney Springs, Va. The surroundings provide a stunning backdrop for our concerts.
