SHENANDOAH VALLEY BACH FESTIVAL Leipzig Service

Sunday, June 18th, Eastern Mennonite University's Lehman Auditorium, 10:00am

Sunday morning’s Leipzig service features a wide array of music across various styles and traditions, ranging from classical music, to spirituals and Appalachian music. The SVBF Choir will sing Cantata Jesu, nun sei gepreiset, BWV 137 with excellent soloists and conducted by new SVBF Assistant Conductor Benjamin Bergey. SVBF organist Marvin Mills will present special music selections and Eastern Mennonite University Vice President of Student Affairs and pastor Shannon Dycus will give the homily "Reaching Across the Table" in what is sure to be a beautiful service.
