SVAC presents Sketching with Ink and Watercolor, taught by John A. Hancock. In this 5-session course, you will explore drawing and sketching with inks. Starting with traditional black inks, you will employ both permanent and soluble inks using pens and brushes to create line, texture, and washes. Additional demonstrations will include several traditional brown inks and modern color inks. You will begin to experiment with adding watercolor to develop design strategies and to balance simplicity with visual richness.
