Shenandoah Valley Art Center Class: Printing with Your Watercolors with Joan Menard
Shenandoah Valley Art Center presents Printing with Your Watercolors with Joan Menard. Come play with watercolor pencils, crayons, and paint to explore the world of mono-printmaking. Learn about utilizing the secondary image that is created called a “ghost.” Your image can be reworked and reprinted several times. The plate that students use is translucent which allows tracing /painting over a 5x7 to 8x10 inch image brought by the artist. This is a fun way for watercolorists to pre-test color combinations before committing to a larger piece.
