For the fourth consecutive year, BRCC welcomes local favorites Shenandoah Cabaret back as their Hunger Symposium headliner. Featuring five outstanding singer-actors anchored by pianist Kemper McCauley, they showcase musical theater - both classic and contemporary - from composers like Stephen Sondheim, Jonathan Larson, and Jason Robert Brown. Additionally, they interpret the popular music of Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young, Duke Ellington, Sweet Honey in the Rock, and Alanis Morrisette. Returning to the stage are drummer Chris Cole and bassist Jack Layne, and appearing for the first time with ShenCab are guitarist Eric Hedrick and cellist Isaiah Ortiz. An acapella number, original mashup arrangements, and more will make this a cabaret to remember. ALL TICKET PROCEEDS will be donations in support of Blue Ridge Area Food Bank.
