Dialogue is how characters tell us who they are, but it can do so much more. This generative session will explore various strategies for moving dialogue beyond simple back-and-forth exchanges into a flexible tool for adding texture, image, and tone to your stories. Students will work through a sequence of exercises based on examples provided by the instructor. All experience levels welcome.
