parkrun is the name of a free, volunteer-led, 5k and 2k event that takes place in parks and open spaces every weekend around the world. parkrun is positive, welcoming and inclusive, there is no time limit and no one finishes last (we have a volunteer tail walker to fill that role). Everyone is welcome to come along! Dogs included, as long as they’re on a short leash.
There are more than 2,000 weekly parkrun events in 23 countries across five continents. Purcell parkrun is just one of them!
