At 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 1, The Center at Belvedere will host “Planting for Fall and Winter Interest,” a free presentation by the Piedmont Master Gardeners. It will provide an overview of how to give a garden four-season interest, whether with the plants themselves or bird or human activity. Participants will learn how simple steps, such as skipping fall cleanup and adding a few plants that benefit wildlife, can go a long way toward creating a winter garden that grabs attention with its chaotic beauty.
