The Sponsored Residential Program at Valley Community Services Board is having an Open House on Tuesday, February 11 from 3 – 6 p.m. at the VCSB office, 85 Sangers Lane. Learn about this rewarding way to open your home, your heart and your family to an individual with developmental disabilities. VCSB provides all the training and once you have a placement in your home, we provide 24 hour a day, on call support services. The Sponsored Residential Program places individuals with disabilities with sponsor homes in the community. The Sponsor provides a safe, family style home environment to the Individual while providing daily assistance based on their individual plan for supports. This includes personal care, community participation, social skills, budgeting, maintain health and safety standards and other pertinent supports necessary to foster independence and the highest quality of life possible. VCSB staff support Sponsors throughout an individual's stay in the home.
