Lúnasa - Irish Solstice Celebration

The beloved Irish folk supergroup Lúnasa, who the Irish Voice called the “hottest Irish acoustic band on the planet” shares a festive holiday winter solstice concert featuring a guest vocalist. Comprised of some of the finest pickers, pipers and fiddlers in the world, Lúnasa is sure to lift your spirits! Formed in 1997, Lúnasa is one of contemporary Irish music’s leading voices. Named after an ancient Celtic festival in honor of the Irish god Lugh, the group have sold over a quarter of a million records and collaborated with notable artists like Natalie Merchant and Mary-Chapin Carpenter. They have performed more than 2,000 shows across 36 countries at high profile concert venues like Carnegie Hall and The Hollywood Bowl. The band’s complex arrangements and unique sound have reshaped the boundaries of traditional music and energized audiences worldwide with their thrilling concerts!
