The Houston Bowman Progressive Agricultural Farm Safety Day is an annual event providing FREE, fun, safety education to local youth and families who live, work, and/or visit farms or ranches. The RMH Foundation, Rockingham County Extension Services, and the Progressive Agriculture Foundation, along with a dedicated planning committee – that includes farm accident survivors, and extensive community support, ensure that Rockingham County and surrounding area youth receive education to prevent preventable accidents on farms and involving farming equipment.
