The American Kurdish Network, in coordination with the Harrisonburg Kurdish Council, proudly invites you to celebrate Newroz in Harrisonburg! A longtime hub of the Kurdish-American community, Harrisonburg comes alive on April 13th with a vibrant, family-friendly daytime festival featuring upbeat Kurdish music, folk dancing, and delicious traditional food.

Wear your festive Kurdish (or other traditional) clothing and come celebrate the arrival of spring with us!

Ticket Info – Suggested donation: $12 per person
This is a “pay what you will” event — everyone is welcome. We kindly ask you to give what you can to help cover the costs of performers, food, logistics, and cultural activities. If you’re able to give more, your support helps keep events like this alive and thriving in our community.
