God's Acre: Preserving Slave Graveyards with Dr. Lynn Rainville

Learn about cemeteries for enslaved families in Staunton/Augusta County with Dr. Lynn Rainville (author and historian). A public historian who has studied Virginia's historic cemeteries for 25 years, Rainville will discuss how to (re)locate slave graveyards, collect genealogical information from them, and protect these sacred sites.
