First Friday – The Art in Death by Skye Raine

First Friday – The Art in Death by Skye Raine

Come Out for First Friday!

Join us on Friday, April 3rd, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM for the opening of The Art in Death, a bone, metal, glass wall exhibition by Skye Raine.

The Art in Death showcases the beauty in what once was. Bones while being one of the strongest materials are also so easily discarded without any thought. The memories they hold are something indescribable to the human experience. Bones while strong can also be broken. Metal showing the need to try to mend something that cannot be fixed on its own anymore. Spikes represent protection to a something or someone who no longer feels safe.

*Bones ethically sourced found hiking in Augusta/Nelson County*
