Everything Is Possible: Writing Speculative Fiction—Fantasy, Sci-Fi, and Horror

This five-week class will take place from 6:30-8pm on Thursdays June 12 to July 10. Taught by Jason Baltazar of James Madison University, this workshop provides genre-specific tools for writing science fiction, fantasy, and horror. Through a combination of guided exercises, discussion of published stories, and workshopping, students will learn how to blend speculative elements with thoughtful storytelling to make the unreal come alive on the page. All experience levels are welcome.
