D-Day, Omaha Beach 80th Anniversary Exhibit
The D-Day Omaha Beach Exhibit is a traveling museum exhibit designed to engage young and old alike, to honor the sacrifices made on that fateful day in June of 1944 and preserve the memory of those who served in WWII. Two dramatic and expansive dioramas totaling 72 square feet with over 500 figures, landing craft, tanks and German defenses, focus on the critical and most contested exits from the beach, Colleville Draw and Vierville Draw. Accompanying ambient sound, short videos, illustrated panels and life-size, uniformed mannequins, retell the story of the assault on Normandy Beach.
