Charlottesville Symphony "Scheherazade"
The Charlottesville Symphony invites audiences to experience an evening of vivid storytelling and sweeping orchestral color with its April performances of Rimsky-Korsakov's "Scheherazade," conducted by Benjamin Rous. The piece features violinist Daniel Sender. Also on the program is Gubaidulina's charming "Fairytale Poem" and Sibelius' stirring Finlandia.
Performance on Sunday, April 19 at MLK Jr. Performing Arts Center.
