Join Piedmont Virginia Bird Club trip leader Cory Swift to explore Bracketts Farm in Louisa County. The property features fields and a lake that often hold a nice variety of waterfowl, raptors and sparrows, among other birds. After birding the lake, participants can follow Cory around sunset to a nearby spot to look for Short-eared Owls!

The walk will traverse roughly 1.5 miles over slightly hilly and sometimes uneven terrain. The route can be muddy, please wear appropriate footwear.
Carpooling is encouraged.
There is an outhouse on site.
