CVBS (Central Virginia Blues Society) and the Blue Mountain Barrel House are pleased to announce its upcoming fundraiser and music jam to raise money for The Nelson County Food Pantry (nelsoncountypantry.org) CVBS returns with another Live Blues Jam Sunday, October 9, 2022 12:00-5:00PM at Blue Mountain Breweries beautiful southern facility, the Blue Mountain Barrel House.
Blues, Brews, Wine, Ciders, and Food
CVBS continues its long tradition of Live music events and open jams on Blue Mountain Barrel House’s beautiful outdoor stage, just off route 29 in beautiful Arrington, Va. CVBS bands and musicians will kick off the music at 1:00PM, with sets throughout the afternoon feature bands and CVBS musicians from Augusta, Nelson, Albemarle, and Campbell Counties; and as is the standing policy for our jams, non-member musicians are invited to come out to join the society and join the Jam! The Barrel House has a terrific kitchen if you get hungry, and of course Blue Mountains award winning beers and ciders, or local wines!
Suggested donation for this event is $5.00 at the door, and of course, Blue Mountain BH will be donating $1 from every beer sold towards the cause. And don’t forget to bring a can of food to trade for a beer ticket, or just to help out! This will be a major event for Nelson County, and we hope to raise enough to help the pantry and Nelson County families in need, get through the coldest months of the year.
