Beats on the Bend: 4th Annual Fundraiser and Concert organized by Friends of Seven Bends State Park
A Day of Music, Storytelling, Food, and Family Fun at Seven Bends State Park
Join us for the fourth annual Beats on the Bend—a vibrant concert and family fun day at Seven Bends State Park! Mark your calendars for Sunday, September 14, 2025. The event will take place inside the corral fence near the historic Lupton Barn. In case of rain, the event will be rescheduled to October 5th.
Festivities kick off at 2:00 PM with a performance by beloved storyteller Warren Halvorson, captivating audiences with tales for all ages. At 3:00 PM, enjoy live music from The John Paul Douglas & The Bitter Trades (formerly known as Who Shot John). Known for their original American songwriting and dynamic performances, the band brings a fresh energy to the stage for 2025, led by singer-songwriter John Paul Douglas and longtime musical partner Tyler Burch.
Food and refreshments will be available throughout the event. Rutz Food Truck will be serving up delicious fare, and Sugar Creek Snowy & Sweet will satisfy your sweet tooth with frozen treats.
During the concert, we’ll announce winners of several exciting raffles, including the grand prize—a sit-on kayak!
