Artists for Peace Exhibition Fundraiser
Two tables adjacent to the mezzanine gallery will be filled with small art and craft works by local artists—drawings, paintings, prints, photos, jewelry, stained glass, ceramics, book art, and more—that you might take home for a free-will offering of any amount. In addition, paintings, photographs, and mixed-media works hung on the mezzanine gallery walls for the show’s April duration will be available for purchase at $100 each. All the funds raised will go to Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) earmarked for humanitarian aid to war-torn Ukraine and Gaza. The people of Ukraine and Gaza are much in need of humanitarian support and MCC can effectively get aid there.
“Live” music will be performed downstairs in the hotel lobby from 6-8 by singer-guitarist Birdie Pond. Parking at the Hotel’s deck is free. Enter from MLK Way between Main and Mason Streets (at the north end of the hotel complex).
