Annual Blacks Run Clean Up Day & Arbor Day Tree Planting

Annual Blacks Run Clean Up Day & Arbor Day Tree Planting

Get a group together, or your family, or just yourself, and join us on April 9, 2022, for the Annual Blacks Run Clean Up Day and Arbor Day Tree Planting event. Each clean-up site will have a limited number of people due to COVID-19 guidelines (and don’t forget your masks). But, we have lots of sites that are in need of some TLC! The event will start with a check-in and distribution of supplies at the Lucy F. Simms Continuing Education Center parking lot, where volunteers will receive a map of the specific section in which they will be cleaning up. City officials encourage participants to stop by the Harrisonburg Public Works Green Scene, featuring educational exhibits and activities about the environment.
