20th Annual Litten Botanical Lecture

20th Annual Litten Botanical Lecture

Join Dr. Lee Brown for the Frances Litten Botanical Lecture exploring new insights into monarch butterfly research and pollinator conservation. Her recent work tracking monarch butterflies with lightweight radio telemetry has been featured by the New York Times, WHRO Public Media, and Milenio. Dr. Brown will discuss how much we still have to learn about monarchs—and why protecting pollinators requires fresh perspectives and open minds.

Additionally, there will be a members-only reception at 5:30-6:45 p.m. Come mingle with other supporters of the Arboretum and enjoy a delicious selection of hors d'oeuvres.

The 20th Annual Litten Botanical Lecture is brought to you by the Edith J. Carrier Arboretum at James Madison University.
