The Piedmont Master Gardeners will present the next in a series of free workshops at the compost demonstration site in the Bread & Roses Gardens at Trinity Episcopal Church. The workshop will showcase a range of techniques for turning household waste such as food scraps, yard trimmings, uncoated paper, cardboard, and wood waste into the ideal soil amendment for the yard and garden. It will also show how all households, large and small, can keep compostable waste out of landfills. Space is limited.
