Ridge & Valley Native Plant Tour

Ridge & Valley Native Plant Tour

No tickets, free event! Rain or Shine.
Saturday AND Sunday! (listed as two events)

Do you garden with native plants? Do you want to? Are you curious about what a native plant garden looks like? Native plants are adapted to the local ecosystem and require less maintenance and upkeep. They also provide habitat for wildlife and host arthropods which support bird populations.

Join us for the first Ridge & Valley Native Plant Tour!

Enjoy two days of open-house-style visits to gardens, meadows, and woodland trails throughout the Shenandoah Chapter service area all prominently featuring native plants. Current tour sites include Broadway, Harrisonburg, Staunton, and Waynesboro.
