A Prairie Home Companion 40th Anniversary Videocast - SOLD OUT

Saturday September 20th, WMRA is celebrating A Prairie Home Companion's 40th anniversary season with a live videocast at Blue Sprocket Sound, 44 Miller circle in Harrisonburg. The event is SOLD OUT.

The party begins at 5:30pm and our evening includes light refreshments as well as giveaways.

“We wanted to provide a special opportunity to celebrate the 40th season with our listeners,” said WMRA's Exectuive Director, Al Bartholet. “This is a fun way for us to recognize the impact that A Prairie Home Companion has had in our community as well as nationally and internationally.”

A Prairie Home Companion is heard on more than 600 public radio stations across the U.S., with a weekly audience that tops 4 million listeners. Garrison Keillor has been the host and writer of A Prairie Home Companion since the program started production in 1974. He is also the author of more than two dozen books.
