Gary's work focuses on photographs of the barren, windswept and unpopulated areas around Alaska's volcanoes.
A bush pilot flies him in and then leaves him without any way to communicate or call for help. While there, he often finds himself in the company of Kodiak brown bears, a few foxes, and on a recent trip, "one bunny".
Martha talks with Gary about both how he pulls this off... and why he wants to.
