After serendipitously discovering clay, potter Nan Rothwell has been throwing pots (or in the old-timey Southern phrase, turning pots) on the wheel for many happy decades. Martha talks with Nan about life, clay, and "wiggling". Wiggling is a clay surface patterning technique. Somesample images of wiggled-wares are on Nan's website.
