WMRA partnered with the Blue Ridge Area Food Bankfor the first-ever Unity in Community Food and Fund Drive.
Thank you to all WMRA listeners, and many others, who helped the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank far surpass the 400,000 meal goal. The organization collected enough food and funds from across a 25-county service area to provide 637,892 meals for families in need of food assistance.
At WMRA, we were able to fill about 4 full barrels of donated foods to assist in the effort.
