Last week, on May 10th, a rare sighting of the Aurora Borealis was visible in Virginia. Democrats and Republicans both gave up something to build a compromise budget for the Commonwealth this week. The ACLU of Virginia heads to Richmond federal court today in a dispute aiming to ensure equal access to services for inmates in Virginia’s prisons.
