Maureen Carnahan
Administrative AssistantMaureen Carnahan serves as the part-time administrative assistant for WMRA, WEMC, and WXJM, JMU’s student radio station. She came to work at WMRA in June 2022 as a longtime listener and public radio nerd. Maureen holds a bachelor’s degree in Spanish (Roanoke College, 2007) and loves language and linguistics; naturally, A Way with Words is one of her favorite NPR programs. In her free time she enjoys roller skating, trivia, and crossword puzzles, all while relishing the company of her partner Colin and their beloved pets.
