The Shenandoah Valley Art Center, during the month of March, in the Cabell/Arehart Invitational Gallery, is presenting 40UNDER40. This juried exhibition features forty works from Virginia artists age 40 and under. This year's exhibition features work from: Marissa Angel, Frank Ballato, Chris Bolduc, Madison Boucher, Nicole Browning, Amy Browning-Dill, Allison Church, Alison Coutu, Jasper Drilling, Nevaeh Durrette, Rose Guterbock, Taylor Hanigosky, Carrol Hill, Kayla Jones, Maren Magyar, A.I. Miller, Muthulakshmi Narasimhan, Breanna L. Santos, Rebecca Visger, Kyle Yates, and Erika Zipser. The exhibit is open to the public March 1 – March 25, 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Tuesday – Saturday.
In the SVAC Member’s Gallery the theme “Pink” is presented in a variety of media as unique works of art, priced to accommodate art collectors seeking to expand their collection. The public is invited to view the exhibit March 4 – 25, remembering that the art center serves the community by recognizing talent, encouraging creativity and joining lives through art. (10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Tuesday – Saturday).
