Last month, about one in four Virginia hospitals that reported data to Health and Human Services were in a critical staffing shortage. And, while dire, the situation is not unique to Virginia. WMRA’s rural health reporter Henry Brannan caught up with Senator Tim Kaine last week after a Senate hearing. Kaine highlighted two bills he’s sponsoring to ease the crisis.
